How to Add Social Networking Icons to Your Blog

Adding social networking icons in the sidebar of a blog makes it really easy for people to share and save your content. Making this easy allows for your content to go "viral" or reach a much larger audience because people can share it.

Instructions

1. Find the social networking icons you like.

You can find button images from many places. (see links given below) When you find the ones you like save them to your computer.

2 Host your social networking icon images.

Upload your images using FTP to your hosting service.

3 Grab your image url.

You will need the url where your images are being hosted, whether it’s on your own hosting or someone else's.

4 Add a widget to your sidebar.

Add a "text" widget for wordpress, or an html/javascript gadget in blogger.

5 Use html to make your social networking icons clickable.
