Test Everything : Testing Your Websites in a Smarter Way

For a number of different reasons, a website can be taken through various tests. Amongst other types of tools, these tests can include tools for CSS/HTML code validation, search engine optimization, and numerous text tools. If you perform such tests on any site, there is a good chance that you use a particular service/application for a particular type of test.

Test Everything! is a personal project managed by Jonas John who has a other ongoing projects as well. You can have a look at his projects’ portfolio here. The Test Everything project is simple and user-friendly. However with Test Everything, you will be able to perform all website-related tests on a single platform.

Usage of the site requires no registration or account formation. Any visitor can simply type in the URL of the site to be tested then select the type of test from the categories listed below. These categories include a variety of tests and once we click one, we are presented with the list of specific tests we want to run.

For example, the “CSS/HTML Validators” category included the following list:

We can enable a particular test by checking the box next to it. After selection of tests, we can click on the TEST WEBSITE button to commence testing.

Another way to use this website-testing service is to add its bookmarklet to our browser’s bookmarks toolbar. The bookmarklet can be gotten from here and then dragged to the bookmarks toolbar.

For webmasters, site owners, and bloggers, Test Everything can prove to be quite a handy tool. The fact that it is free and has a clearly friendly interface adds to its overall usefulness.
