It's New Year's Day again in Nepal, this time by the Bikram Sambat calendar. By the Bikram Sambat calendar it is 2066; April 14th 2009 will mark the beginning of 2066.
To all those around the world who share common Nepali cultural and linguistic traditions,
I send best wishes for a happy 2066. I hope that in this New Year, Nepal will continue on the path to peace and prosperity.
