How to Join Yahoo Groups Without Yahoo ID

Yahoo! Groups was launched by Yahoo! in 1998. Yahoo Groups operate as both electronic mailing lists.Members can choose whether to receive individual e-mails or daily digest e-mails, or to read the posts at the web site. Some Groups are simply announcement lists, to which only the Group moderators can post, while others are discussion lists.

Normally, We need a Yahoo ID to join Yahoo! Groups. But several of users don't know that Yahoo! Groups also can be subscribed without Yahoo! ID. There are two methods to join any Yahoo! Group without Yahoo! ID:

Method 1:

Login to you Email Account.
Send an empty email with any title to YAHOOGROUPNAME-subscribe@yahoogroups.com

Change YAHOOGROUPNAME with yahoo group name. Like if you want to subscribe http://groups.yahoo.com/group/allthefun then simply send an email to allthefun-subscribe@yahoogroups.com

After sending email, you will get a confirmation email within 1-2 minutes. In this email you will find a link. Click on that link and you will go on a new Yahoo Page.
On that new page, look at the end of page and you will find a like

As an alternate option, you may join the mailing list instead.

Click on that link and you will be subscribed to that group.

Method 2:
Open http://groups.yahoo.com/subscribe/YAHOOGROUPNAME

Change YAHOOGROUPNAME with yahoo group name. Like if you want to subscribe Allthefun Yahoo! Group then the URL will be http://groups.yahoo.com/subscribe/allthefun
Give your email on that page in a box click on Request Confirmation Email

Now,
you will get a confirmation email within 1-2 minutes. In this email you will find a link. Click on that link and you will go on a new Yahoo Page.
On that new page, look at the end of page and you will find a like
Click on that link and you will be subscribed to that group.
