Changing Audio/Video Format Using VLC Media Player

VLC player allows you to extract the audio track from a video file and even change audio/video formats.

Click on Media, scroll to Advanced Open File.

In the File Tab, click on the Add Button and select the video. Click the Convert button (refer to the picture below).

On the next window , enter the output path. Select the encapsulation method : WAV

Note: You can choose among several audio codecs for VLC.

Now I am going to tell you the way to convert formats through VLC media player. Open VLC player click “media” > “Convert/Save”

Widow will open to select the file to be converted by using “ADD” button. Then click “Convert/Save” button at the bottom

Click the required format in which you want to convert the file then browse the required location to save the file through “Browse” button then click “start” at the bottom.
