ResizR is a nifty, free and very useful little helper. ResizR allows you to resize an image from your local computer or the web.
Often you do not need more than just resizing an image on the fly. Before ResizR you required a desktop software to do this - heavy applications which can do much more than just resizing an image. ResizR changes the game - it's much easier. Select an image - choose the width - rotate optionally.
Follow These Instructions:
From your local computer:
Click on the "Browse" Button and choose an image you like to resize. Currently only JPG can be resized. Now you can set the width in pixels by dragging the slider or entering a value into the text field below the slider. Click "ResizR" to start the resizing process.
From Web:
With ResizR it's also possible to resize any images from the web. Click the "From Web" tab and paste the URL of the image. How to find the URL of the image? In some browsers you can just right click on the image and choose "Copy image location". Click "ResizR" to start the resizing process.
Rotate:
To rotate the image click on "Image rotation...". Choose the 0°, 90°, 180° or 270° icon. Rotation is clockwise.
Hint: Do not increase the size of an image. You can, but the results will probably not be satisfying. If you want to see the initial width, check the text above the resized image.
Note: Once an image has been uploaded it is available as a "From Web" image for any further actions so you don't need to upload it again!
IMPORTANT: All uploaded images will be deleted once per day.
